The Moth Project is a new multimedia show from GRAMMY nominated and Ottawa-born musician Peter Kiesewalter (East Village Opera Company, Jane Siberry) which features two musicians in front of a large video screen. It weaves music, pictures, and words about and inspired by Moths and explores the mythology behind them through interpersonal stories which explore themes of migration, transformation, life, and death. Gorgeous imagery–slow-motion video capture, dynamic motion graphics, and stunning macro photography from entomologists and photographers around the world, diverse music–from solo Bach violin to songs by Joni Mitchell, Jane Siberry, Chick Corea, Bernard Hermann film music, original songs-and compelling stories and spoken word combine seamlessly in a 75 minute show not to be missed.
