GCTC and Ottawa School of Theatre (OST) are co-hosting an unconference for the Ottawa performance community.

An unconference is a place to generate and distill ideas. There is no panel of experts. Instead, there is a dynamic, democratic discussion involving everyone present, leading to action items and solutions generated by the group.

At GCTC we want to invest in supporting Ottawa artists and are actively looking to be more involved in the local performance ecology. The unconference will speak to this issue directly. If you are an Ottawa performance artist, this event is for you, and this conversation needs your voice. Come meet Megan (OST’s new AD) and Sarah (GCTC’s new Interim AD), and be part of an important conversation about developing performance in Ottawa.

Please note all people who enter our facility are required to be fully vaccinated and masked. Each person will be asked a set of standard screening questions prior to gaining access to the facility. Please, if you are feeling sick, have been exposed to someone with COVID or are exhibiting any symptoms of COVID, do not come to the event.
